NEW THREE-DRIVE VARIABLE SPEED CABINET PROVIDES
PARALLEL PUMP CONTROL

Morton Grove, IL -- February, 1996 --- ITT Bell & Gossetthas introduced a new Cabinet Mounted PowersavTM variable speed pump controlsystem with three adjustable frequency drives that permits control of threepumps in parallel operation.

Designed to save critical equipment room floor space, the new Cabinet MountedPowersavTM package incorporates a TechnologicTM pump logic controller andadjustable frequency drives in a single, space-saving 44"W X 24"Denclosure. Control and power wiring between controller and AFD's is completedat the factory. The installing contractor simply makes a single input powerconnection, runs power wiring to pumps, connects remote sensors, and thesystem is ready to run.

The new system is available with a Technologic Series 4000 pump logic controller, and PWM OR VVI drive outputs. All control and power wiring between the system'scontroller and the drives, and all electrical and operational testing isperformed at the factory before shipment, resulting in a ready-to-installsystem and trouble-free start-ups.

Bell & Gossett also manufactures frame-mounted and skid-mounted variablespeed pump control packaged systems, and individual system components. Thehighest quality adjustable frequency drives, sensors and Technologic pumpcontrollers are used in manufacturing B&G packaged systems, which arebacked by ITT Bell & Gossett's pledge of "unit responsibility."Besides variable speed pumping control systems, Bell & Gossett alsomanufactures packaged systems for heat transfer and pressure-boosting applications.

Bell & Gossett, a unit of ITT Fluid Technology Corporation, is a leadingmanufacturer of centrifugal pumps, hydronic specialties, heat exchangers, condensate handling equipment, and packaged systems for variable and constantspeed pumping, heat transfer and pressure boosting.
