ITT DOMESTIC INTRODUCES PACKAGED PCC PUMPLESS
CONDENSATE UNIT

Morton Grove, IL -- February, 1996 --- ITT Domestic now offers a skid packaged version of its PCC Pumpless Condensate Unit, used in high temperature applications.

The Domestic Packaged PCC unit includes a receiver and pumps to make itquicker and easier to install. The packaged unit provides suction pipingwith isolation valves, so one pump can be serviced without interruptingunit operation.

Available in a simplex version with a 47 gallon receiver and a duplex versionwith a 71 gallon receiver, the Packaged PCC unit features an elevated, ventedsteel receiver with holding volume above the filling head level. This preventsequipment flooding and provides sufficient area for flash steam separationfrom the condensate.

If a receiver is not provided in a package, it needs to be added in thefield. In order to ensure proper receiver sizing, Domestic offers a guidechart for both receivers and reservoirs.

Domestic also has introduced a conversion kit to replace the Sarco castiron Pressure Power Pump PPC mechanism. The kit includes the PCC internalmechanism and conversion ring and lid, and can be used with existing SarcoPPC cast iron tank and check valves.

Compared to the Sarco mechanism, the Domestic conversion kits have fewerparts; eliminate binding; include hardened valves and seats to prolong mechanismlife at 125 psi steam; and need no adjustment after installation.
