ITT Domestic's New Adapter Kits Solve Pump Replacement Problems

Morton Grove, IL -- November 5, 1996 -- ITT Domestic has introduced a new Volute-to-Receiver Adapter Kit that solves the age-old problem of how to replace one manufacturer's pump with another manufacturer's pump that doesn't match the original receiver.

Using the new Domestic Adapter Kit, contractors and installers can now mount the Comestic/Hoffman "A" Flange Pump to a wide variety of Sterling, MEPCO, Weinman, Skidmore, Aurora, Federal and Economy receivers. The adapter flange is bolted to the existing receiver and the Domestic/Hoffman Pump is bolted to the adapter flange. Without the kit, contractors could be faced with the time-consuming and sometimes impossible task of trying to find a replacement pump that no longer exists or is out-of-stock.

There are seven specific Adapter Kits to choose from and each kit consists of a carbon steel adapter flange (drilled and tapped to match the receiver), two gaskets and required hardware. The following Domestic pumps will mount to the previously named receivers with the new adapter kits: Centriflo Pump models 180001, 180030, 609PD, 613PF, 616PF, 617PF, 618PF, 620PF, 625PF, 626PF, 627PF, 650PF, and 651PF; and B35 Pump modesl 613B, 616B, 617B, 620B, 626B, and 627B.
