The change comes following Pleasant Co.’s acquisition of long-time B&G Representatives
Mangham & Associates and Johnson & Scott, Inc. in those territories. James M Pleasants Co.
has been the B&G Representative in the Carolinas for over 40 years.
The remainder of the territory that was previously covered by Johnson & Scott will now be handled by other B&G Representatives:
- Hydronic Technology and Boone and Boone Sales Co. will assume responsibility for territory in Arkansas, and Hydronic Technology will also assume responsibility for territory in northern Mississippi.
- Blackmore & Glunt will assume responsibility for the counties in the boot of Missouri.
James M. Pleasants Co. was founded in 1958 as a stocking sales representative for Bell & Gossett products by founder Jim Pleasants. The company has grown as a sales organization with the emphasis on specifications and systems. With more than 40-years experience and the representation of more than 20 additional lines, James M. Pleasants Co. has the expertise and products to provide integrated Hydronic, Steam and Condensate Systems.
Boone & Boone Sales Co. is headquartered in Tulsa, OK and has been a B&G Representative for 27 years. Hydronic Technology Inc. is headquartered in New Orleans, LA and has been a B&G Rep for 56 years. Blackmore & Glunt, Inc. is headquartered in Maryland Heights, MO (St. Louis) and has been a B&G Rep for 72 years.
