its complete line of Bear Trap brand steam traps. The newliterature provides
detailed information on applications and specificationsof each type of Bear
Trap to assist end-users in selecting the proper unitfor their application.
The Hoffman Bear Trap family now includes four series of float and thermostatictraps
(Series1 In-Line, Series H, and Series C & X), three
series of balanced-pressure thermostatic traps (Series 8C & 9C and Series17C),
two series of inverted bucket traps (Series B1 & B2), and theindustry's
most reliable thermodisc trap (Series 650). There are now 145individual
Bear Traps from which to choose.
An important feature included in the design of all Bear Trap units is the
all-stainless-steel internal components feature which resists chemicalcorrosion
and water hammer, resulting in a longer trap life.
