McDonnell & Miller Announces New ZoneSmart™ Controller

Morton Grove, IL - September 2, 2008
McDonnell & Miller announces the introduction of its new line of ZoneSmart™ pump controllers. Ideal for zoning with circulators in residential and light commercial hydronic applications, the UL and cUL listed controllers feature a host of standard features including:

• LEDs that are visible without removing the enclosure cover.
• Domestic hot water (DHW) priority to ensure adequate DHW supply for a user-selectable period of time.
• Post purge timer to maximize overall system efficiency by distributing BTUs to the living space rather than up the flue.
• Pump exercise prevents wet rotor circulators from locking up due to mineral and scale deposits that can accumulate during long periods of inactivity.
• Four and six zone controllers can be linked together to accommodate up to 18 zones on a single system
• Integrated outdoor reset controls are available to provide the ultimate in homeowner comfort and energy efficiency
