Morton Grove, IL -- March, 1996 --- ITT Bell & Gossett has introduceda new constant speed pressure booster equipped with the latest microprocessor-basedcontroller technology for dependable staging of constant speed pumps.

The Model 70E pressure booster is less expensive to operate than controlsystems based on relay logic, and is designed for use with all applicationsof constant speed pumps. With its microprocessor memory and recall capabilities,the pressure booster can detect multiple faults in a pumping system anddisplay them on an operator interface monitor screen.

A two-line, 20-character backlit display shows engineering units in kw,amps, psi, gpm, etc. Operators can read diagnostics from the controlleras it continues to function, eliminating system downtime.

The Model 70E provides across-the-board application flexibility, since itcan control pump staging by power consumption (kw), current draw (amps),flow (gpm) or pressure (psi). You choose the method that is best for yourinstallation.

The 70E Pressure Booster measures 36"H x 30"W x 9"D. Otherstandard features include automatic and manual alternation, elapsed timemeter for each pump, audible-visual system alarm, remote alarm indication,remote pump on/off status and no-flow shut-down.

Besides constant speed pressure boosters, ITT Bell & Gossett manufacturespackaged systems for heat transfer, as well as cabinet-mounted, frame-mountedand skid-mounted variable speed pumping control systems, and individualsystem components.
