Bell & Gossett Publishes
Bulletin on New Hydrotrol Flow Control Valve
Morton Grove, IL -- April 30, 2001.
Bell & Gossett has published an informative new bulletin that
identifies and explains the features and benefits of the new Hydrotrol flow control
valve.
The four-color one-page bulletin A-411 provides contractors,
wholesalers, and engineers
with a variety of useful information on the new flow control valve. The bulletin
highlights the many features and benefits of the Hydrotol and also includes specification
information such as performance characteristics curves, operating data, and dimensions and
weights.
The Hydrotrol flow control valve is designed to prevent gravity circulation that leads to
overheating of zones in hydronic heating systems and will allow summer-winter operation of
an indirect water heater.
The Hydrotrol offers many design features to meet the demands of today's hydronic systems,
including:
Elastomer seal which provides positive shutoff eliminating the need for an
isolation valve
- Straight-angle configuration which allows for quick and easy installation
- Vertical design option saves installation time and material
- 1/2 turn knob for system draining or valve bypass
- Brass body and non-ferrous internals
