Bell & Gossett Publishes Bulletin on New EASB-JR Air Separator

Morton Grove, IL -- September 5, 2002.

Bell & Gossett has published an informative new bulletin that identifies and explains the features and benefits of the new EASB-JR Air Separator.

Designed to assist in the selection and installation process, the four-color, one-page bulletin (A-601) provides contractors, wholesalers, and engineers with a variety of useful data on the new micro-bubble air separator. The bulletin explains how the EASB-JR removes entrained air including micro bubbles. The bulletin also summarizes EASB-JR features – such as its non-clog venting design - that provide optimal performance and extend product life.

The EASB-JR Air Separator is designed to automatically remove entrained air bubbles in hydronic systems. As fluid enters the air separator, the velocity is decreased creating a low-pressure area. The small bubbles are released from fluid and then collect on the coalescing medium. As the bubbles coalesce, they rise to the top of the air separator where they are released to atmosphere through the built-in automatic air vent.

The compact design and the no-minimum pipe requirements allow EASB-JR to be installed wherever air is a problem. Several sizes offered: 3/4”, 1”, 1 1/4” and 1 1/2” NPT and 3/4”, 1” and 1 1/4” sweat. The new product’s non-clog vent design eliminates callbacks due to the fouling of the valve, and features a 1/2” NPT connection that allows easy connection to a diaphragm tank. The EASB-JR comes with a three-year warranty.
