BELL & GOSSETT ISSUES NEW BULLETIN ON SERIES PL™ IN-LINE CIRCULATORS

Morton Grove, IL -- February 7, 2000.

Bell & Gossett has published a new bulletin detailing the many features of its expanded line of Series PL™ maintenance-free, in-line circulators for hydronic and potable water applications.
The four-color, four-page brochure (A-136A) offers engineers, contractors and wholesalers an easy-to-read overview of the Series PL specifications, pump curves and design features. Also included are dimensions, weights, motor characteristics and construction materials.
The circulators, now available in six cast iron and five bronze models, provide a superior alternative to large wet rotor pumps in heating/cooling and plumbing systems. Unlike wet rotors, Series PL units can handle dirty system water at a wide range of temperatures (0° to 225°F, or -18° to 107°C). The circulators feature an advanced close-coupled dry motor design, plus the exclusive B&G XL11® permanently lubricated bearing system that eliminates concerns of system contaminants.

Bell & Gossett, a unit of ITT Industries, is a leading manufacturer of centrifugal pumps, hydronic specialties, heat exchangers, condensate handling equipment, and packaged systems for variable and constant speed pumping, heat transfer and pressure boosting.
