New Models with NEMA 4X Enclosures McDonnell & Miller Expands Line of Technologically Advanced Liquid Level Controls

Chicago, IL - July 11, 2000

McDonnell & Miller has expanded its offering of technologically advanced, general purpose liquid level controls with the introduction of the new Series LPC-2000W. The new units are designed to meet a wide array of level sensing applications and feature control units with water- and dust-tight NEMA 4X enclosures.

The Series LPC-2000 and LPC-2000W are conductance activated probe-type controls designed for industrial and commercial level sensing and for pump control of cooling towers, tanks, water fountains, condensate units and other applications. The field selectable control unit allows for single or multi-level sensing, and the time delay feature prevents process disturbances from water level surges.

The LPC-2000 and LPC-2000W can directly switch a 1 HP motor, and feature 1 to 4 different operating modes: low-level alarm, high level alarm, pump-on and pump-off. Their compact size and micro-controller versatility make for easy installation.

McDonnell & Miller, a unit of ITT Industries, is a leading manufacturer of boiler controls, flow switches and liquid level controls for
residential, commercial and industrial applications.
