McDonnell & Miller Introduces Environmentally Friendly Low Water Cut-Off/Pump Controller

Chicago, IL - August 24, 2000

An innovative new series of low water cut-off/pump controllers featuring environmentally friendly mercury-free snap-action switches has been introduced by McDonnell & Miller. The new 42S series is ideal for installations with operating pressure below 50 psi, or for applications that require wider differentials at lower pressure.

The versatile 42S has two switches: one switch to operate a boiler feed pump, and a second to interrupt the burner circuit in a low water condition. Also available are the series 42-A with quick hook-up fittings and the Series 42-N with gauge glass tappings. On small boilers used in commercial and larger residential applications, these options make the controls much easier to install.

Replacement head mechanisms for the Series 42S are also available and are completely interchangeable with the popular Series 42 controls that are installed throughout the world.
