Bell & Gossett Adds New Submersible Vertical Turbine Pumps

Morton Grove, IL -- December 8, 1997 -- Bell & Gossett has announced a new series of Submersible Vertical Turbine Pumps that combine the hydraulic engineering of turbine pumps along with high-tech submersible electric motors.

Ideal for commercial and specialty applications, Bell & Gossett's Submersible Vertical Turbine Pumps offer either hermetically sealed or wet winding motors available in a variety of voltages and diameters. Units can deliver flow rates up to 9000 GPM and up to 1400 feet of head. The pumps and motors also can be combined with options such as motor sensing devices, water level indicators and special materials to meet the specific user demands.

All B&G Submersible Vertical Turbine Pumps have corrosion-resistant, polished 100,000 PSI high tensile stainless steel shafts and large stainless steel pump/motor couplings that are machined for perfect alignment, balance and power transmission. The units also feature precision-balanced impellers for maximum efficiency over a wide range of hydraulic coverage.

Other features of B&G's Submersible Vertical Turbine Pumps include:
